I always assumed other cleaners wiped the sills, but the number of people who tell me their previous cleaners haven't is amazing.
Do all the good you can, and make as little fuss about it as possible.

Thats why all the good windys get more and more work as there are loads that dont do this. Why do so many worry about under cuttering  and loads of new windys? If they are good windys then fair play to them but i think you will find there is many many more out there that dont clean the frames glass and sills and are part timers.

wow thats a lot of customers stan for a 1 man band. You must have to put a lot of hours in to stay on target each month. I struggle with 400 custies so top respect there.

If I've left dirty water on the sills of course I wipe it off...a good w/c always clears up after himself...it's a bit like having a poo and not wiping yer arse ::)

Sills get a wash and the frames a wipe every time.

I think it come back to the two markets goups we have in this industry.
How much can I do for how much will I charge?
                    Or
How little will do for how little I can charge.?
                   Focus on price to compeat.
                   Focus on value to compeat.
The real question is which market are you in?

To be honest, I think that a lot of WFP guys are dreaming if the believe that they are leaving the sills clean every time. How many times have we scrubbed bird muck off downstairs sills, we don't even know if it's there when we do tops.
I always did the sills when I was trad, and I run the brush over them now with WFP. I can't say that the top sills are clean though, I don't go up and check them, so I just hope.
