Not an expert here and depends on the system but have you left the flush valve open?

and are you checking the pure or the waste ??   i only say this as the 1st system i had i used the waste not realising the tiny trickle coming out the other pipe was pure and the fast flowing pipe was waste!   :-[

needs to be flushed for hours, and what ever you do, do not connect to the resin  as will cost a small fortune, few hours then test,

shut the waste tap then turn it anti clockwise 1/4 turn then test if no good turn another1/4 then test so on .
DO NOT  shut the waste tap tight just till you feel it touch .

never herd that one , if you have the water on full max presure , the water should be going in the tank at around 6/7 tds . then when you get to the job it goes through the di to the hose.

tap/pre filters/RO/tank.   that order then............... tank/di/hose.

Makesure you have it plumbed in the right way round, you could have the waste water going in the tank that`s why  it looks like you have a high  reading. It dosen`t have to be flushed that long before the reading comes down.

Who know`s,the colour of you hoses means nothing to me i`m afraid it needs to be plumbed in correctly so tht the good water is going into the tank and the waste water is going down the drain "simples".

Check your di tube.Carefully unscew it and see if it is not damaged.Mine was when I got it last week.
If there isnt a perfect seal your reading wont be 00.
Steve.
