I did - then I fried the flow controller. And guys on here said you can just replace the pressure switch for a few quid.
So here's what I did while I was getting rained on and you were out quoting that lovely lady this morning:-.
Got my old pump, used Andy M's advice, went to maplins bought three pressure switches replaced the pressure switch and hey presto my pump is working.
I've now mounted it near my present one so that when the pressure switch goes I just swap the hoses to the repaired pump and when I get home I can put a new pressure switch in the now blown one.
I have a tap on my belt where the pole hose meets the reel hose for on/off/and flow rate.
So I reckon I've saved about £100 on replacing my flow controller. Switches are less than £2
and I owe andy m a pint![/quote]
Glad I could be of service Mr Gold.
