Richie;
Many thanks for you input on the toggle switches, however, whether an isolated situation, true or just a rumor, I did want to clear up certain aspects of anyone reading and possibly coming to the conclusion that the SCORPION-XPS systems switches are not up to snuff.
First, perhaps the particular and limited models you may be referring to were our older models (Recoil and early Scorpion) . The newer SCORPION-XPS systems (perhaps over the past 2-21/2 years--??) had heavy-duty switches installed that had water proof on the outside exposed areas and are in compliance with the heat and demands of 230-240v systems, as well as our own here in the States.
And, ofcourse, like all switches on all equipment, we have to assume that they will be turned on/off by ones hand and not by ones shoe. However, even if one uses their shoe, it will not hamper the switch unless undue pressure is applied beyond the reasonable force.
We have used thousands of these switches and have had very very good success without complaints (1-3%) or hassles. Therefore, they do have a great proven history. If it were otherwise, we would have changed years ago.
The very best to all;
