for handwashing i use antibacterial wash, stings like mad in your cuts, but at least you can eat your lunch without fear of birdpoo or spiderpoo getting in amongst the cheese n pickle.

and for the tap, i use push fit from gardiners, broken 3 already, and they aren't cheap as ian says.

i am going to check at my local trade plumbers to see what they recommend.

these are better than taps,they last longer.
 don't know why people bother with taps or rectus fittings they don't last and they,re costly. imo
Totally agree Suds tried the brass and chrome taps but prefer the plastic nice and light and less chance of damage.  Can you tell me where to buy.
