Trevor,

Wow £80 that sounds way to cheap to me

sam
may be it is just the area i live but that would be a realistic price round here, i have cleaned windows for 26 years have a pretty large firm doing lots of commercial work and we still get undercut regularly at these prices.

Commercial seems to be going the same way as contract cleaning from what i have experienced lately!! people quoting daft and employing someone on min wage to do it and turn a few quid profit!! It defintitely isnt the big money you would expect, seems more profitable to get good domestic work to me!! All the commercials ive quoted i have quoted fairly and not had a sniff of any of them - been undercut by ALOT!!

Im not focusing on the commercial as much now, i think unless you get in with council or housing association or similar its hard to get good money, or maybe its just the few ive had??

i think you are right we lost a large job last summer that we had done for six years without any complaints, it was underpriced when we did it but helped keep staff employed for when good one off work came up, we lost the job on price alone and was told this at the time.

better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove any doubt

sams got it.

we always charge a standard £10.00 per flat in this situation, so £160.00

dont sell yourself short. thnk about it, for each person in those flats £10.00 a month is nothing.
The best way to predict the future is to create it.

£120.00. for all four blocks excluding the patio doors on each balcony. If access can be arranged through each flat then £2.00 per patio door.

This would be considered a reasonable price and should ensure you get the job.
