I lost my dad to cancer last Thursday. His funeral is tomorrow. My life feels like its in limbo at the moment.

I'm over two weeks behind, and of course it bothers you, because you want to be reliable, and up to date.

But at best I can only do part days at the moment, I try not to worry about this, its only dirty windows afterall.

Dont worry take time off when you need it, or you can end up hating this,or any job. It is one of the advantagies of self employment I guess.
sorry to hear that John my dad died of cancer 8 weeks since tommorrow,so i know how you feel

Yes it does, just a quick point though.Jsmc, Just try to remember mate, every time you work an extra hour now, it goes directly in your pocket. Nobody earns a cent from what you do, except you. You determine how far you go when you work. Nobody earns on your sweat.

If you work harder, you benefit, nobody else.If you decide not to go to work in the morning, it's up to you to stick the aggro. Nobody can lay you off. Your bank balance depends on your work, not on someone elses whim. You have stood on your own merrits and you take the rough with the smooth.and you are your boss. Some people will go to bed tomorrow not knowing if they have a job next Monday and if they will make the monthly payments on their AUDI  next month or even their mortgage.

Alot of people are not sleeping at all because their next few months of their life depend on how they get on with their workmates. You determine where you go with your income. If that doesn't make you feel better mate, then it might be time to think about going back to work for someone else and hope it all goes well. Chin up mate, we are all in the same boat, and some periods get tough, that's why we earn what we earn.

Nobody said it was easy, just better than working for someone else.

hi, best thing to do mate is find time to work out, thats what I do even if you run for a mile , or go on a bike ride etc and light weights in the morning for 10 mins, it lowers your stress levels and keeps you fit for work. Also rest all weekend get ready and fresh for monday morn start, believe   me your'll  be fresh as a daisy. Also cut the booze down if you can mate....barry :)
