Hand brush & Fairy
« on: February 13, 2009, 11:41:29 pm »
Just recently when picking up NEW customers homes that are really dirty...

I find myself wetting the windows wfp, then attacking them with diluted fairy and hand brush (downstairs)
then rinsing.

While Upstairs I wet them then dip wfp in diluted fairy then rinsing

I have not had any problems, and no complaints... No residue or gray streaks that some people say can take two -three cleans to get rid of!

Anyone else do this?

Nope, never have done this.

You need a good brush (Gardiner Pole Systems Superlite is brilliant) and a high flow rate. I've had really minging jobs, and they came up fine. :)

As for fairy, we are trying to get rid of fairy of the glass, not put some more on.  :P

 ::) Interesting!
I always thought that way, yes you can clean the windows well with JUST wfp, and I have, but I have to say it is much, much faster!
As for "residue" none!
It works for me, I like to keep an open mind on these things rather than just going with the flow! :P

As I've always said...
A parachute works better when it's OPEN! ;)

yes this method was recommended by craig mawlam of ionics on first cleans.

Its also what car cleaners do, use detergents and rinse with pure water.
