agree with ravensford we get ours from molevally farmer £10 size ten nice and big so you can put any nice warm gloves on under and total waterproof      downside only last about 4months

had a free of sealskin would not part with £25 to have cold damp hand

I have tried alsorts of gloves in the end I end up wearing none, hands get used to the cold, seal skins fingers wear quick unger made my hands colder than wearing none (work that out) ski gloves to bulky, so now it is tuff skin and the odd blow on them to warm up. How some of you guys would last if trad all year  ::)

I have tried a few varieties of winter gloves including sealskins.Sealskins where great to begin with but they rip very easily and when its near freezing they just do not keep my hands warm.I cannot recommend them.

I have 2 pairs of waterproof gloves that I wear. I have an heavy duty pair that are cumbosome but they are dry and very warm when the temp is below freezing. They are ski gloves with a very hard wearing material on the fingers and palms.I got them a size  larger then I needed as I wanted to see if having a cushion of air around my fingers would keep my hands warmer. It does, I only ever wear them on very cold days, they are superb.I bought them from an outdoor clothing chain called Tresspass for about £19.99. I have an other  pair of waterproof ski gloves that are waterproof but are not as bulky on the hands, these where also bought from Tresspass for £17.99

My employee wears these now, absolutely loves them.

He also has a pair of these, which he used for wfp before he got the ones above, but now just uses them on gutter clearing.

I just use powder free latex gloves now.

Am I missing something, it is far easier for your hand temperature on trad. U just get a bucket of hot water from the customer.

I've used the sealskins one day so far, I quite like them. Let's hope I don't have to use it too much.
