Gutterings

I'm starting out wfp in a few weeks time, I've noticed most wfp window cleaners offer guttering clean service. A few questions...a) is it just outside the guttering, inside or both b) do you need any additional equipment c) do you use any particular cleaning agents and if so how is it applied?

any help appreciated.

Hi Neil,

it depends on what they want done.

if it is insides emptied then we use a ladder, pole and scoop.

outsides wfp if really bad tfr and wfp (I have never used tfr on them as never needed to)

I am looking into getting a pressure washer wand lance and gutter tools so can get away from the ladders, you can get a gutter vac but for the amount will clean it does not warrent the costs and to be honest I do not push gutter cleaning as there are plenty of windows to clean but as an add on its ok.

if you look for the post jeff1 he expains the tools I am looking into, I only posted this topic the other day so will be on first or second page I would say.

If your going to offer a service then don't offer half a service, cleaning in as well as out will bring you in more money.

Here is the link Ian mentioned
