Got it out by misting acidic rinnse to towel and gently rubbing in/off then hair dryer treatment over and over again.

The womans dad (who stayed with me) even gave me a tenner tip.

Thanks for all your advice especially to Paul M who I spoke to on the phone today.

I was going to say, you should have just asked on another forum. The problem could have been solved quicker.
Spray some m power mixed with cold water on to it and close your eyes,open them 20 seconds later and hey presto the stain has gone.

I didn do that initially but the water obviously was'nt cold enough
