few heavy showers but managed a decent day.
Getting frustrating though, it seems to be everyday. what it must be like to get a nice week of uninterupted work done..
im happy if i can still get my scheduled work done (albeit slightly longer to complete it).
whats the alternative though?sitting at home and losing a days pay and getting further behind with your work?ive been there many times when i was 100% trad.that feeling is far worse than getting wet while working.plus i used to end up skint too which was even worse!
i always take 2 waterproof jackets with me and swap them at lunchtime.it makes a huge difference to how you feel when wet weather window cleaning.
have a great day adam
Oh yeh I agree it's better to get something done rather than nothing.
Its just not ideal, personally no matter how much I tell my customers it's fine to clean in the rain and tell myself. I still feel a bit of a plonker doing so, makes me feel uneasy standing there cleaning windoes dripping wet thru. Maybe I worry too much
Anyway just going out the door and its just started to rain lol.
Have a good one daz
i used to feel the same pal but you and your customers will get used to it.dont forget your using a pole system.your still cleaning 4 weeks/6 weeks/8 weeks worth of cobwebs, birdmuck, spiders eggs, pollen spots etc off the windows.
any customers who say they dont want them cleaned just skip them til next clean(i think i have 2 out of 350+ customers!).
after a few years customers wont even mention the weather and will come out and pay you whatever weather you turn up in.
your bank balance will be healthier, you ll feel better that your keeping on top of your work and you ll enjoy your free time a lot more.(and your holidays!)
