Well, very relieved today, finished the estate which i expected to be worse hit and looks like the wind took it away in a different direction and so far only 2 houses affected. I got talking to a chap who used to be involved in specialist cleaning jobs and he proper put the wind up me. Reckoned the pvc would have to stripped back 4 to 5 layers, and he named some sort of cleaner which costs £50 to £60 for a small bottle which you cant carry around with you with out the neccesary creditation etc and said brake fluid would work but didnt recommend it !!!

. ( brake fluid ffs). Anyway, went to do the neighbour of the customer who rang me and their car was covered in the stuff though the windows wernt too bad. I popped next door to have a chat and he showed me round but to my surprise was told that the "specialist cleaner" still hadnt turned up so he had had a go himself and to his credit managed to get most of it off the glass and his car. Of course i asked him what he used to get it off expecting some expensive specialized cleaning agent but was rather taken back by his answer..... "Fairy Liquid" !

. Fairy liquid has become a bit of a dirty word since wfp has been so popular and id forgotten just what a great product it is. It was pointed out to me later on today that thats what they use to get oil off birds that have become contaminated after oil spills so yeah why not. I still do bungalows the traditional way and deliberately use so call;ed superior detergents rather than fairy but once this has run out im going back to the old faithful. Lot happier today.
