paypal account

just had my account stopped as I'm nearly at the limit for payment amounts???? im being asked to upgrade to a premier acc or a business acc they both look as if they charge the same to 3.4% +20p    does anyone know what its all about & which is best please

does that mean 3.4% + for every pound or every payment

Yeah there no getting away from it.

20p per transaction flat rate, plus 3.4% of the total amount.

I charge my customers an extra 5% for using PayPal (they are pre warned and it gets automatically added on through my website).

loads still use it though. It's so easy for most.

I have paypal business and don't charge my customers extra as the 50p i loose is far cheaper then me driving back to collect especially if no ones home

Adding on the 5% works for me as If people don't want to pay the extra they can do a bacs or send a cheque.

If I was to aborb the 50p per customer it would be a substantial amount throughout the year, probably close to the £1,000 mark. If much rather have that in my hand. :)

t hanks lads,  I don't have a website just a pp account so would I have to add 5% to each individual customer or wqould getting a business account do it for me

is a premium or business account better ?

Sorry but my web designer did it and I've no idea. I will send them am email though and see if they can tell me.
