Got a custom, had it 6 months.Have to say i love it. Just waiting on a new connect now and i think that will be just as nice tbh (inside cab and to drive)Only gripes are i wish i went for LWB and the biggest engine.I am having it remapped in scotland and the chap has said it will be identical to the top engine. Only difference on my engine vs biggest IS the mapping

He is considered the best for the mk7 transit and the custom uses the same engine. That's why I am travelling up to him

That's why I am travelling up to him I wouldn't be too confident if his website is anything to go by.Anyhow, you do know you can kiss goodbye to your Ford warrantee as far as engine & electronics goes? You will have to inform your insurance as your van would be modified & they may may refuse to insure you- although you will get insured by some companies most probably with an increased premium.Have you checked the Superchips website to see if they do a Bluefin remap for your variant? If they do I would seriously consider it. Superchips are probably the best known in the industry with an impeccable reputation. The Bluefin unit allows you full control- it's a hand held electronic unit which plugs into your diagnostic port & you install/uninstall the map at will. It only takes approx 4 minutes. You can download revised maps (should you have any issues) & have a complete new remap within minutes. I'll not go into fine detail of how remapping an ECU works in different ways but the Bluefin is untraceable all bar actually dyno testing, but for peace of mind it's so quick & simple to just go back to the original manufacturers map for when you have any warrantee/service work carried out by Ford etc.
I have the new vivaro and it is a really great van, fuel consumtion however when fully loaded is 35 mpg when empty and on eco and driving really well its still only 40mpg (which im happy with) for them to say it 47 is untrue imo
