It will be because of the stormy weather! I did mine last Friday and looking at them now they look like they've not been cleaned in months!!

Phone the custy up and explain the situation if they are still not happy offer a discount on the next clean.
I'm going to try that at the car wash where I had my car cleaned on Thursday. Reckon it will work?

Their is no way i would go back and re-clean its an act of God , The weather forecast is not always right and in our job we have to get out and earn .

As mentioned above would you go back to the Car wash and ask for a refund because your car got dirty within 3 days of them cleaning it . Mike

Do what you feel is right for your business is this the first time a long term customer has complained? do you need her custom? Are you sure the job was done to a high standard? Seems like on here everyone's advise is always to chuck the custy first sign of a complaint or problem whereas I would personally assess every situation and maybe sometimes give the customer the benefit of doubt even if it means doing the house again or offering discount. You will know your run and your customers yourself to be able to decide if someone is genuine or just a moaner/chancer.

He cleaned the windows, she sent a text that suggested that he hadn't. In my opinion you either reply professionally and calmly that they had been, but the weather has made them dirty again or you ignore and dump or you go and reclean them. I certainly wouldn't reclean them. Aside from anything else it might send the message that you hadn't done them in the first place.

Maybe some of us feel that we are being taken for a fool if we re-clean windows that have become excessively dirty prematurely. I for one value my customers and am happy to go the extra mile to keep the good ones happy.

Is a customer like this a "good" one? Sends a text suggesting that you had left a bill but not done the job. You must be very short of work.

It's up to you what you do. What I do works for me.  :)
