A pole you simply didn't look after that only lasted a year and cost £250 might sound a lot but, even assuming it's worthless at the end of that year, that's £1 per working day. That £1 gets you
Less arm and shoulder strain - lighter and stiffer
Less neck strain - ditto
Quicker working - good clamps
Easier cleaning - all of the above
Cheap at three times the price.

Spot on. Trouble is, convincing some of this is like convincing certain customers that rain wont affect their window clean!! They'll just never see it!!
