And how much better is it than a tap in a holster? Or pinching the hose?

i have had to take mine off due to a shoulder problem and i did notice the difference today.I also noticed how much water i was loosing and wasting

I really like the aquadapter , however when the side spring broke on mine  , I took it of and the pole felt very light, even at full ext. over conny roofs, have decided not to refit it, as pole is so much lighter.

I took mine off as well it was fitted on to a clx22 and by god it felt good when i did. i now use a tap which is 2 inches away from the brush works a treat and les to go wrong

Personally i use a gardiners push fit valve and hold it in the palm of my hand,i've done it this way for about 5 years.I can't see anything that beats this method.You have fingertip control,there is no added weight or length,its relatively cheap and when used with the black barb to stem fittings,there is nothing to go wrong.With a little practice you don't even notice you are holding it,it becomes so natural.

totally agree although we use metal taps instead on the end of the hose
