Worked Friday and Saturday so todays a day off. It's raining anyway so I reckon that combined with it being a Bank Holiday would just mean they'd all say 'not today'.
Back to it tomorrow of course - rain or not!

I used to work some bank holidays when in England and nobody batted an eyelid, but here in the emerald isle people it's not the done thing, so it's off till tomorrow for me.

Any day can be a bank holiday if you want to. I had two days off last week, so worked on Friday. Don't see the problem with it.

Spot on. I'd sooner be off when it suits me. I'm going to have some time off later in the week to watch the horse racing (the Grand National meeting starts Thursday). So, the plan was half a day today (child minding this afternoon) to take a bit of the pressure off. But it's raining and I had a few pints last night so it's a write off.

I went collecting some bad payers, got most of them, then did an hour or so, couple of large jobs that I normally have to wait for the internet transfer, but got paid today as they were off.
