Nobody's put him off or sent him links to alternatives ... which i great , im not going to either

Its a bit like the carpet cleaning machine equivalent or a Bristol or old Bentley ... old body design , lots switches and gauges but rather cool and well built all the same .
Bet if you asked them for performance data , they would say its adequate .
If i was to be positive about the features , id say the pump is reliable , good flow , copes with immersion heat well .
The 7.2 vacuums are probably more efficient than those they used years ago .
The tanks are easy filled and easy cleaned .
An immersion heater is fool proof reliable ( provided u dont switch it on empty )
Price is ok ish .
If its used with the scrubba , or small wand ( i would get a 10" single jet )and at close range <50' like in the extracta site pics ( they should be wearing ear protection ) it should give you great results and years of service .
One thing i curious from pics ... how is the vac hose connector half way down the waste tank level ? ... is it not directly coupled , looks like it might height adjust on that front grove ? how that would be of benefit to anyone i have no idea ...
Yes they should have updated it generally a bit by now btw.
