seriously a guy i worked for prior to going alone had 5 vans . each taking between 200 to 250 per day of which he took 50 per cent , he supplied the van and equipment and each day a list of custys , some with phone numbers highlighted which meant they had to be contacted prior to cleaning . so if you anaylise that its 225 a day average per van =1125 per wk x 5 =5625 per week and say 48 weeks a year 270 k per year . now i know some of you guys would say what about vat well he got around that one by setting 3 companies up therefore eliminating vat probs, the guy is minted , he uses the cheapest equip and the poles are like scaffold poles i kid you not. after a day working for him was tough purely cause his equip and vans are rubbish . prices varied from 3.00 to 50.00 so there wasnt a price structure as like many of you guys with the minimum charge but as a business he had it down to a tee, so my point is it can be done i dont think richy is talking rubbish .

The other 4 were doing about £150/£160 a day max - and a couple of them struggled to do that

even if it was 160 i know some days i hit 250 for him and some days i did 80 quid  my point is he made a lot of money

I;m not knocking richy, if he has 750 customers then thats what he has, but I think that richey is counting the ones who don't pay or have them cleaned all the time.

I have loads of customers like these, but all have been dumped and I never count them.

you should only count the ones who pay and have them cleaned a least 11 out of every 13 cleans

Richy i love you!! who is dairy intolerant is it your wife or your daughter?

my daughter mate but still unsure whats actually up nhs are crap gotta wait til march to see dietician again,shes on special milk for it but theres no follow up milk like for normal babies so we dont know if shes waking hungry or in pain been nightmare 12months

i know its not the worst thing but its the not knowing whats really up with her as we have a couple of good months and then something flares up again

One more thing London cleaners I've had another quick look through just a cpl of your posts and you consider urself to be a 13st bodybuilder who's out on the tools from 6am to 445pm everyday who earns £400 a day and run a car wash on a saturday for past 5 yrs!( just a sat?very established??)

I originaly came on this forum to pick things up from established people who know what there talking about but over past cpl if yrs it seems to have filled up with a couple of people trying to belittle others, you included!!!

Your just a bully at the end of the day who's so insecure about how bad off you are you get your kicks from taking it out on others!!

Before it all gets lost in conversation drift (i can't get my head around the board times and the hour difference with some posts), has it taken over three hours to do 50 customers? That can't be right, surely?

mike window cleaner pro will not minimise on my screen so im having to write down each customers details,price frequency, etc etc from round pro then retype it all into window cleaner pro, they said they could do it for us but we sent all the data down on csv files in access not excel so instead of them takin an hour to transfer it all he couldnt give me approx time schedule n they would prob charge 60quid an hour to do it

id rather do it all myself coz im finding crap customers etc that im not even bothering to put on new system

I'm not sure if I keep it, I was asked for the nvq the other week by a potential customer, but I;m not sure if I binned or filed it, are you going to windex, if so and I find it I will bring it along, if not ask mr willis
