aren't people having probs with insurance and gas bottles in van now? one thing that was putting me off....

You have to inform your insurance company,. and some do refuse cover, so its best to go hot around the time your renewal is due so you can switch companies if you need to. :)

I'm using immersion heaters and it is a cheap and cheerful solution if you have an undercover electricity supply.
