no need to apologize, but there is no need to be so negative in your choice of words, there are better ways to put your opinion across without spoiling a thread to the point people don't want to read it, negative comments on a product is your opinion but to rant on like a little boys is very boring, Ive given you negative comments without insults just humor, its not rocket science surly.

like i said i have had brodex, xtel and gardiners, gardiners by far the best, great customer service too!
i have nothing against them. For the price they are a bargain and i want a 22 clx to go with the 18 and 27!might get the smallest one too for a few of my commercial work and bungalows i do!

alex should be doing a smaller clx soon as standard, i rang him gave him the specs i wanted and he made it for me 3 section 9ft in total for my shops bungalows etc, i converted a old pole over three years ago to theses specs for the above jobs but its at the end of its life so it had to be replaced, the new one feeling brill due to thinner poles than what we had a few years ago. i could never be without it, over the years ive used ionics first then brodex to varitech to cleantech, but ive used alex for four years now and i find him very helpful very quick service, good customer relations, but if he let me down i would soon ring him and tell him,

all you got to do is ring alex ask nicely and tell him the specs you want and im sure you will be well happy, i remember when i use to deal with brodex they use to make them to my specs, i always got fed up with getting a new pole and taking it apart to make it to my specs as i never liked the old six foot plus ones we could only get at one stage.

cheers pal
i just sent a email to him.
brodex are useless in my opinion, last time i ordered a pole after 2 weeks of waiting for it i called them and they tried to say i ordered it the day before, never appologised and then had the cheek to offer me 3 poles for a price!

I have a CLX 22 and have had the clamp issues and also the tape which stops the sections coming apart has worn away so if i over extend the pole it falls apart, anyone else had this?
Im not scared of heights, just falling from them.

i prefer my pole not to have the positive stop both my slx just pull apart, all you need is some bright enamel paint and paint a mark to let you know when your close, this way i can use my slx 35 at a 18 most of the time then just add section when i need them, now with new quick change brush clamp its one pole only i can leave slx 22 at home, to me its perfect,

Great minds think alike! ;D ;D

I'm the same, I actually took the tape off my slx & marked it with paint instead. ;) Makes it easier to strip for cleaning too.
