Really that good Dave? What do you like about them?

I'm not a big fan of them weight wise, but then again I'm probably not as strong at you (still remember the X-tel 60ft fascia clean jobbie from long time ago)

Have you ever tried a Tucker, can you comment on it?

Scrubbing power, with effortless bristles with unrivalled durability, also the corners don't wear out unlike the square edge brushes so the bristles stay intact without curling etc.

Vikan are the king of brushes

i have put my vikan back on me slx, after using the gardiners brush for over a year.

ive forgot how good it is with first cleans and genral overall when on the windows.
heavy yes compared to the supalite, but i get use to it.

and for the price of the gardiners brush they dont last that long, where the vikan just keeps going

Here it is the 25cm

Its the Bees Knees

Cheers, I'm going to try one. I don't have a flocked brush in my armory at the moment, if I don't get on with it I can use it for washing the van! ;)

The Pro window brush looks OK too, anyone tried one?

Vikan have always made great brushes, just that they have always been a tad too heavy especially on the end of a superlight pole. The bristles are great.

I wouldn't use it on the superlite but I'm willing to give it a go on the slx. Like you, I used to like the action of the flocked vikan but the helium effect of the super-lites spoiled me! ;D

The newest Dualtrim flocked from Gardiners is pretty close to the Vikan I reckon for bristle action.
I have the old mono rectangular vikan in the van - I thought it was brilliant a couple of years back. Never use it now, too scratchy and too heavy.

Just drill the thing's out, it isn't difficult. Get a drill, put in a drill bit, no10 is a good size and drill out 15 holes. Don't go right through but it doesn't really matter if you do on the odd one, you then have a really light Vikan brush.

Ewan

Vikan make brushes for Vehicles, windows and floors, if you can make the best brush in the world for vehicles, you can make more than a good enough brush for windows

What qualifies you to your opinion.

I have used every brush on the market, and still come back to Vikan, nothing comes remotely close to the new Vikan

I can show you photos of useless brushes including curled up Ionics brushes, I can even show you some rubbish square vikans, I have got about 20 redundant rubbish brushes.

Just try the new Vikan, you just might be amazed.

Being heavier than the SL, how high do you go with these brushes Dave?

I bought & used this brush Dave & I have to say, I can't agree with you. It does have a nice action but it's just TOO HEAVY & has way too many bristles! I cannot imagine using it on the SL2 :o ;D

Superb for washing the van though. ;)

Gardiners re-introduced 15 degree DT semi-flocked all the way. :D

if you look on gardiners its on there, its a square one with round ends and green and red bristles, i bought a couple for leaded houses, as my supa lite mono jumps about too much, the vikan holds too much water for me though, use the SL for everything else
