I just eat sandwiches in the van 15 minutes max.
-
I havs started to take a midday break...but I always feel I should just get on, most days I just eat on the move.
Cheers
Dave.
-
depends how good dear deidre
is if in the vans, if in office dont tend to stop ::)
-
Usually pop home for half an hour. If the Mrs is in a good mood I might not get back out 'till the kids finish school ;)
-
I just go grab something eat it and back to it, or if ive taken sandwiches which is rare just ear on the way.
Sometimes i have something to eat then pull van up, drop seat back and have a snooze lol
-
I mostly always stop for lunch
-
We have about 40 mins to an hour for lunch! Why not?
-
Eat a massive "Full English " in the NAAFI Max if we have the option. Otherwise, stuff face full before going to work. Only do 4/5 hour days, so eat again when we get home.

Yeah, get a bit of stitch for the first half hour ;D Worth it though, I'm a slave to "Full English" mate.

The first time I cleaned a ford showroom in Leicester I had a meal in the subsidised canteen in the college across the road before I started to clean, once I finished it couldnt move for about 40 minutes, steak and kidney pie, roast spuds and veg then a sponge cake with custard, thought it was a bargain at £2.20 lol
Learned a valuable lesson lol

funny, when you work for someone else you take every last minute of your breaks,
but when you work for yourself you forget. :D

AAHH, that's because you haven't had ARMY special training Matt. I was in the 1st Bat Queens own face stuffers. Eat what you can as fast as you can, never know when you can get a cheap meal again. ;D

If your working 7-8 hours in a day you realy should have a 30 min break, probably be better for it.
I'm mostly doing cleaning in the morning and canvasing later on so I probably have an hour or more between
-
Depending where I am I usually go into Morrisons or Tesco to use the toilet and buy a sandwich at the same time. Then sit in the car park and eat it.
-
Will come home for a up of tea if local, otherwise i very rarely take them. I find it takes an hour or 2 to get back upto speed.
I would rather come home early.
