after purifying my rain water down to 000 ppm from 040 ppm, i cant help noticing there is a kight green tinge to the colour of the water!
had anybody else experience this and if so is it safe to use on windows?

never heard of it, but 0.00 has to be dirt free , so the windows should dry clear.

Yeah, you have algae mate. Paint your tanks black. It doesn't affect window cleaning unless it is very bad.

bleach will get rid of algee , once your tanks nearly empty put some bleach in give your tank a roll about leave for a couple of hours and rinse out .

I use an MPV (windows all round) and had a lot of trouble with algae.
What I do now is add a cupful of bleach to the tank about once a fortnight in Summer and once a month in winter - no problems at all now (and it doesn't affect the TDS reading).
And it smells real 'clean' when filling up. ;)

i wouldnt bother with the paint then , just give it a bleach out and you should be fine .
