You did the intelligent thing, but personally, don't you wish you 'put him on his arse'?
After the chat with 'the boss', you should've 'hunted him down' and asked him to have a chat with you in the car park.
I'd put my money on you.
Maybe next month; just dwell on it for a bit; lose some sleep about it, think the guys on CIU are thinking you're soft; then give him a good kicking.
;D

Yeah but with everyone using carbon poles want be long before we all look like that bloke off of Mr Muscle. :o
-
did your pole not catch his car a few times acci'DENT'ly ?
-
just put it in your turms and conditions that if an employee stops you from completing your work that you will still charge the full price for the work not done and walk away from him
-
Or just tape there area Off and thats the end of it.no one walks in that area let alone drive. ;D
A few cones with a plastic pole out the top with a bit of that hazard tape.
Job done, After all H&S
;D ;D

Did you clock his car and reg.no.?
For future reference so that you don't accidently tap his tyre valves or something ... ;)

I'd of said " And do you think i really care about your car mate "

its a class thing! he works in a nice engineering firm and you are "just "the wc ::)i bet you are glad you dont get his paypacket though ::)its hard not to get wound up... i just think to myself, i may be just be the wc , but my round is growing, and so is my paypacket,
i had a guy in a jcb ask me abruptly "can you move your van"?
yes i replied, and i carried on working,
he asked again "can you move your van "?
i looked at him with ahappy face and politely said "please" and carried on working
then he asked can you move your van please?
my reply "certainly " and i moved it straight away!
it wasnt really about the word please, but his tone and manner ;D

makes me laugh with people like this though. they have no idea about the amount of money we earn yet they talk to us like servants
-
I just drop a load of bollards in their parking spaces so they can't take the p... when I'm cleaning. Move them and their cars are parked at their own risk which I let them know of ;D
