Good price that Richy £187.99 all in.
What adapters needed to fit a pole to it though?

Think Varitech are doing a good price on the backpacks.

They have the Shurflo plus a cheaper model, but not sure on the make.

I didn't cut the hose i just took the Spray Lance off and fitted a Hoselock Male Connector to the end (it's the same thread).
You can use the trigger thats already on the backpack then.

i did do this first off, but the trigger got caught on something and snapped. so i just cut it off.

My back pack arrived recently and I'd like to keep the lance trigger to turn the pump on and off.

Is there a way to connect straight to the trigger without the long fragile part of the lance? (if you know what I mean)

after reading some of the other backpack related posts I think I might just keep it simple and cut the backpack hose, put a female microbore connector on it and use the hose that you can nip to stop the water flow or possibly a tap clipped near my belt.

Like the idea D.Salkeid mentions of having it mounted so you just back into it, strap on and go.
