If it cleans windows well and YOU like it.  Then WELL done mate.  All part of the fun isn't it?

I made one out of a complete "Tesco,Melody Brush".  Fitted jets and tube.  Fitted a flow valve and a shrieder mail connector and away I go on Downstairs.

Yes I don't see why not as long as your using pure water. Maybe combine it with a cheap backpack then strap it to the missus and bobs your uncle!

Cyber......How did you get the angle adapter to fit onto pole?

glad you spotted that
I used to use it on an unger style telepole.
screwed into the angle adapter is this adapter from cleantech http://www.cleantech.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=22_40&products_id=221
they do a cheaper plastic one but I found it less durable.
the hole drilled through the pole is the same as you find on an unger pole for pushing the adapter on (spring and two pegs) only difference is I've removed the spring pin from the alloy brush adapter and just bolted it through instead as I dont need it to be quick release, hope that makes sense! :)
also I've found that angle adapters dont often have a matching thread with a cheap diy brush so you maybe able to tell from the pic I've wedged it on and after drilling 2 small holes I've secured it with 2 small self tapping screws.

cheers cyber. I did buy the same pole today as it was p*ssing down again and i wanted to make a cheap replacement as ya never know when ya gonna need a standby. I chopped of with junior hacksaw, the end piece and just pushed the(cheap) unger adapter part in,drilled two holes and yep,nut and bolted it. A tiny bit loose, but not enough to worry about. I will be buying some decent metal ones because, like you,i find the nylon ones only last a month or two and sometimes they even become fixed to the brush and are a chronic pain to get out. Like you say, they will last 20 times longer, in fact i cant see how they will ever break(famous last words)  :D
Anyways, thanks for the inspiration bud. New 5 meter pole for under £40
Happy Days  ;)

Mine was £14.99 bud. I don't know if it'll last forever, but it'll get me out of trouble should i need a temporary replacement. Maybe it will last forever.I'll find out when i get to use it :)

Just had our RBC meeting down in Bristol last weekend.

Our First Aid guy is a hoot - part of his item on First Aid went like this.

(He's a black guy with a West Indian/Bristolian accent and flourescent yellow shirt and rainbow tie.)

"Let me introduce you to my team:-"

On come three girls dressed in bandages, plaster and space blanket.

"Don't end up like them - work sensibly!" he exclaims.

He then says "Now I'm going to introduce you to Annie - she'll let you jump on her chest and blow into her mouth" He then brings on a First Aid Dummy!

The whole assembly hall were wetting themselves laughing.
