Hi all,

( if this link fails just search for "window cleaning"on the search bar in ebay)
..The man is an arse please check it out... nice garden hose there mate
PLEASE PLEASE If you are going into water fed, research as much as poss so you don't buy inferior crap like this. People like him make me angry >:( >:( >:( just ripping money off you......newbies be aware not every wfp system is a good one.
P.S check out his feedback.....staged or what !!

I found it?
He lives in chard I think matt lives that way?? (about twenty miles from me!) Perhaps he knows of this guy.
Gazza have you bought anythink off him, one of his feed back is called gazza??
there is about £500 worth there but you can shop around and get it cheaper.
-
item number 120032234710 jeff
to be fair its worth 400 quid anyday of the week, might even be 500 quid
not in the same league of markup as the "professional systems" so at least he is giving the normal WC'er a chance to own the kit
of course, could save and build your own DIY styleeee
-
Cheers poleman....what do you think of this system??
P.S Above link does work.
-
POLE SYSTEM is proving to be the most effective, safest and most importantly only LEGAL way for professional window cleaners to keep working.
::)
-
I buy quite a bit off Ebay.
I've noticed this one before and Gazza is him in a previous incarnation on Ebay.

Iam all up for people saving money but look at the quality off the components its not gonna last long i.e garden hose and a 60 psi pump...come on.

Poleman
I totally agree :o"The only legal way" :othe man is aving a laugh ;D
-
Well if someone did buy it to get into WFP and it saved there life then that can only be a good thing, so I am all for DIY (YES you did read that right Matt ;)) as for the system see if you can get the bits cheaper, my personal view I wounld not touch it, but thats my choice

Big area aswell Matt ;D
800 Lts a day RO system seem big to me ::)

luckily many of us have found this site! I'm not against e bay, I buy from there myself, but it pays to do some research first. Through this site I've found many good suppliers and going the diy option is very easy now. Whats with 2 x 125 ltr tanks anyway?, why would you want that? ???

Quote from the Ad.
* 2 x 125ltr Tanks (250ltr in total)
This is a full system ready to get you started and can be set up in the back of any car.
Hence 2 x 125 tanks. Yeah right it will fit in any car ::)

oh i agree, the bits would be cheaper to buy , but i guess people just dont know (that was the aim of the DIY site ;))

without wishing to be arguementive :)
plenty use a hose household hose reel, is has microhose going up the pole though
LOADS use a 60 psi pump aswell
t be fair the parts look industry standard, EXCEPT the hosereel
nice to see a bigger DI resin cylinder though, much better than the 250 RO-MAN has

Isn't this what me and a few others like Welmac & JM123 have be saying in many replies, DONT BUY IT JUST BECAUSE ITS CHEAP. Do your homework, ask lost of questions, what’s the warranty? does he have product liability insurance? how long has he been in business? etc. ask more questions on sites like this one and get other WFPs opinions. If its cheap & being made in a back bedroom there's usually a reason.

what rubbish
just because its being made in a garage by some1, doesnt mean its less quality
a system contains
a water tank
RO / DI
pole
Brush
pump
hosepipe
just because you buy from a "comercail company" doesnt make it any better, just means they have made a good few hundred quid out of you
the parts are all industry standard, keep to that standard and you have a system that will do the job well
lets not lose sight of that
oh and isnt the fact that you sell system enough to make you "run-down" the ebay system maker ::)
-
Think I missing something here ;D
-
I totally agree Matt, What's more when you DIY you get the system that's tailor made for your round. My trolley with it's 30 metres of micro bore hose reel is the best I could have for accessing my work. Or I could buy a van mount with 200 metres of hose. Dai

Hi All
I dont like the way that when he dosn't get the price he wants the item is withdrawn as sold elsewhere and immediately relisted i.e a false auction.
Regards mal

If it’s such good value and quality then buy it. I agree that if you build DIY then you get what you want, but do you know what you want? A reputable supplier should have a range of product and should be able to offer advice as well as product. As for Matts comment about being made in a garage there’s nothing wrong with being made in a garage if its made by a reputable maker.

this guy sells/advertises on ebay quite often. if you want to get into WFP at the lower end of the scale then this may be ok for you to start off with. i started off myself trying to do things on the cheap so to speak, but ended up scrapping alot of the gear and buying quality parts that are going to last but also work better.
people, just do your home work and make sure you know what you are buying. some dont want to spend much on window cleaning and are happy to buy a budget system, for others they want something that bit better. buy what you need to do your work and spend your money wisely.

Matt would you say £799.99 for a RO WFP system is the cheapest you have seen!

nope, ive seen cheaper ;)
personally i prefere a cart / trolley / sack truck style for domestic houses, but thats just me
800 quid is a fair bit of money, 650 - 700 would have been more apt, the customer gets a good deal, the maker gets a price of a good meal and a fair few drinks ;) for him and his family
-
I've just took a look at it.
A bit cheap and nasty, I wouldn't recommend it. I can't see any effort put into it - I mean all the guy has done is take a photo of the parts and thats it. With saying that, he's not asking insane sums of money, but I don't feel it would be an investment.

This pile of crap has now reached over £600, but all the bidders are private HHhhmmmmmm make your own mind up ::) ::) ::)
