I know this isn't the place for this, but have been advised to post here to get a response!
I've sent two messages following the 'Interested in Advertising | Contact Us Here' link, created a post in another part of the forum and contacted (I think) an administrator directly and can't see any other ways of contacting someone - we'd really really like someone to get in touch about advertising!
Please please can someone get in touch!
Huge thanks,
Susie
Squeegee App

Just start posting adverts on here, I'm sure that'll sharpen them up.......
;D
-
I'd like to get through the official channels if at all possible!
-
How do you plan to compete with cleaner planner and aworka who by now must have 90% market share?
-
Is this another Cloud based system? If not then there may be a gap in the market.
-
I use squeegee, but I haven't used cleaner planner or aworka.
Because it's an actual app, for a sole trader at least I find it very easy to use and if I don't complete all my tasks it's just a quick swipe to allocate it to another day. No messing about with spread sheet style work planning. But then I haven't used the others so can't really comment, but I quite like squeegee and I'm not connected to squeegee.

We are already a large competitor with thousands of users across the globe. We don't claim to have a monopoly by any stretch, but competition is healthy!
We offer a standard plan which is free and paid options for end to end management of small businesses ranging to large enterprises. The premium plan is now just £9.80 a month so is very competitively priced and our platform is very different to the others we've seen in terms of UI.
I'd love to post a link, but I'm just trying to get hold of someone to advertise properly! Any ideas how we can do that? ::)roll

Squeegee is a real time app which runs off your device and doesn't need a connection. However, it benefits from the fact that your data can also be stored in the cloud in real time when you have a data connection and it can be accessed from multiple devices at the same time :)

I am not affiliated either. Just so others can take a look and have there vote on it compared to others.

Squeegee is by far the best looking and easiest to use app
unfortunately i found it buggy and its lack of accouting tools made me ditch it
also its a nightmare to move work about as theres no overview of the entire round you have to sift through everything
it would benefit from a more in depth desktop version imo

Thanks for your feedback! There is a web app on https://app.squeeg.ee and you can filter by rounds as well as sorting by other options such as distance.
I'm guessing you haven't used it all that recently as there is now an expenses feature and full invoicing. We'd welcome you back any time :)

Used it up until a couple of weeks ago.
It seems to me that it's still jn the development phase, i.e lots of features still to be added etc.
Don't get me wrong I think it will be the best app in time, I just think it's a little early yet for me.
I'll have another look at it though

Superb app in my opinion.
I really like it.

Great stuff - the way we see it, all software should constantly be under development with updates, tweaks and new features being added constantly :)

I’m interested, have just signed up on the app. Do you offer a free trial period? I was on cleanerplanner but didn’t get on with it.

How do you plan to compete with cleaner planner and aworka who by now must have 90% market share?
Out of interest, how have you managed to quantify 90% market share?
If you’re basing it just on this forum then maybe but I’d imagine there are thousands of window cleaners in just the UK that have never heard of CIU or cleaner planner, so how have you worked out the 90% market share?
(I’d never heard of this squeegee app, but just as I get irritated when a neighbour tells me their window cleaner does the whole close, even though we clean 8 out of the 12houses on there , I would imagine it would be irritating for others when you presume to know more about their field than they do)
-
Same. Might take a look and see what its like. Needs to work on a mac book though. Does it?

Probably 90% share is owned by a note pad and pencil or spreadsheet. ;D
George is still popular too

I’d be inclined to agree with that to be honest!

Hi Susie,
I have put a copy of your request in the Moderator's area. Until you get a response or I get a kick up the derriere from admin for going above my pay grade please feel free to use this thread to answer any questions.
;D

Have just had a play around with the App. On first glance it looks just what I want. Cleanerplanner seemed a massive faff for the way I wanted to use it, creating worksheets etc.
I just want somewhere to have a list of all my work and a way of looking quickly when it is due/what is owed etc.
-
Me again - just had an automated response from my admin contact -
On holibobs - back at desk Monday 2nd July ... (I paraphrase ;D)
Hope that is useful.

This is why I like the app although I haven't tried the other options. I did have a look at cleaner planner but it looked a faff especially if using a smart phone and not a laptop.
Whereas this is an actual app and works well on my phone. Like anything else it's a pain inputting all the details to begin with, I've currently put just over a hundred customers onto it and I've a long way to go, but! once they are on the app it becomes easier to book them in.
I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and I have just upgraded to prsmium

Btw, are you wearing Hai Karate for Susie's posts, Malc?

I use cleaner planner and love it but I like the sound of this route optimisation. It's been promised with cleaner planner for some time now but still not seen it on my screen. At minute we are doing routes by brain power only and not only do we get it wrong sometimes it can get very frustrating on a daily basis..

I didn’t realise any of them had route optimisation- that’s something Iv been looking for
Question: can squeegee optimise my who months work? Or does it just optimise 10-20 jobs?
-
You can put in the post code and it will bring up all the address with that post code, and route automatic,
When trialing it I had 3 job's on the same road, and it routed the first then second then third, However the first 2 jobs are old people and getup late, so I allways start at the farthest job first. It does allow you to re order the jobs so you can chose the order.
I do know the developer and he is a sound guy.

The route optimisation is per day using the Day Pilot feature. What our users seem to do is have their work organised into rounds of similar locations, have a round a day and then the optimisation works beautifully. If you add in or remove jobs along the way it recalculates and also gives you a recalculation option if the planned route is no longer the best one using traffic data at different times of day.

Give us a shout if you need any help :) we are introducing a complete overview of jobs soon which will allow you then to filter by round, frequency etc too

Not my cup of tea then - if you were to create something where you could optimise a couple of hundred addresses, then I would sign up .
There is no one in the UK that offer this service, so how many jobs can you optimise per day?
Cheers
-
You kinda know how many customers you can get done in a day/week.
So my weeks are divided into my rounds and I know roughly where I want to finish each day. So I schedule my week accordingly but if I want to finish early like I did today its just a case of swiping left on the jobs remaining and add them to tomorrow. Its that easy.

With regard to your question, try advertising under gutter cleaning equipment and they will be on you like a rat up a s""thouse drainpipe, and you will then get a registered letter or e-mail from one of their snotbag advertisers and you will be banned.
Try it!!

Ive just downloaded the app and put next week's work on it so I will give it a go. Looks good up to now though ;D

It will optimise as many jobs as you have planned for that day, if that's in the tens or up in the hundreds! :)
-
If you optimise your whole database you will mess up your frequency for your round and confuse everything.
If you want to do that then just put all your jobs into one day and optimise.

I actually group my different frequencies in separate groups , majority is monthly, then I just add a 2 monthly or 3 monthly as and when

what do you mean by this mate ? how do you work it?
it always upsets me that i have random 8 weekly jobs pop up in my schedule as they really need to automatically sync with my 4 weeklys, so if im a week late on my 4 weekly in area A then ideally the 8 weeklys in area A also need to shift down a week so they are due when im back in the area but i dont think any software can do this so they are almost always out of sync and i have to manually re organise my round constantly.
so do you run a seperate round with all your 8 weeklys on?

Yeah I’m not sure about software- I just use excel. On my spread sheet , I have all my monthly first and what date I’m going to be there .
Then underneath all the monthly work I have 2 monthly & 3 monthly - similar to this

interesting, ive never thought of putting different frequencys on different rounds, only issue is becaus ei have quite a low % of 8 weeklys and cover quite a large area, the 8 weeklys would probably be much more spread out so i tend to just manually move them to fit in with 4 weeklys.
I have considered for some time to just go 6 weekly and nothing else to stop all the messing about, some days end up full to busting then next time round its short due to the 8 weeklys not due, at least having them separate eliminates this.

Used app for this weeks work and like it a lot so am going to put all this months work on it a week at a time has anyone gone for the upgrade and if so what are your opinions of it?

I've gone for the upgrade just so I can personalise it and add more customers on the route planner/confirmed addresses.
I've just got to find the time to add all my customers onto it.

Cheers Nathan that's what's taking the time at the moment putting it all in ;D
