Title: ridiculous customer!(now ex customer)
Post by: dazmond on March 10, 2016, 08:45:14 am
i dont think ive ever had such a scatty, crazy customer! ;D

shes a very good looking 20 something with a kid.been cleaning hers for about 6 months now( a 6 weekly job.)her husband is very rarely home when i clean and i have to pre notify for back gates to be left unlocked.

texted her last night.her reply was "husband away so cant leave gate unlocked, can you come one day next week?"this is the third or 4th time shes said this over the months.

also shes said "can i pay online"ive sent her my bank details 4 times in 6 months!full of excuses that she cant pay online, something wrong with the internet banking etc,can i collect?yes on a monday evening.followed by can you collect on a thursday evening instead?"

then to top it all she said last time can i give her a WEEKS NOTICE to give her chance to leave the back gate unlocked!

ive not dropped her earlier cos its a nice easy 10 min job for £10 right near a cluster of other easy £10-£15 jobs but ive had enough now! ::)roll ;D

You've been far too generous Daz.

6 weekly clean, 4 not today's and you've been cleaning it for only 6 months? That's means that she's tried it on for every clean you've done? I'd have binned her long ago whether she's near other work or not.

She's mid 20's,  far too young for Daz. I've met him,  he's pushing 50  ;D

I've often wondered how it will be in the future with homeowners getting younger I can see a new generation of people messing the likes of us about as they seem to have less money but expectations of living in a nice house and everything that goes with it,if they all have the mind set of my nephew we are in trouble he doesn't seem to care who he owes money to its water of a ducks back.

Sounds like you have been honey potted TBH.

I have lost count of the times I have quoted cheaper to get a proper fit customer on board. Not talking like a 7or8 talking like a 11 out of 10.

Last job was a 3 story town house.

3 polish POLE dancers. They asked if I could come mid afternoon each time. So they will be up as obviously work nights. No problem at all.

First clean all 3 are in conny watching each other trying new moves. They see me and I said sorry I will come back later. Don't be silly. Carry on.

Then one turns round and said would you tip this.

She does a move which I can only describe as pure filth and I was like Urm yeah that's amazing lol.

So clean all Windows. I'd want £20 all day long. I am doing this house for £10 knowing in summer time what goes on.

Now the honey pot part.

ONCE in 2 and half years have I seen someone. They pay online and I never see anyone.

I always here clapping in side or laughter when cleaning. Once I heard something like. Monica that move would get you chucked out.

So I am like yeeeeeeeah great.

You could say "listen little sis, if you don't play by the rules then I'm telling father" that should put an end to the messing 🤓

Sounds more like she's sailing close to the wind and having to be uber careful on her spend out. She's probably more than happy with your service but isn't flush enough to pay the bill to conform with your terms. You did say she wasn't a munter and her husband works away so just do what all other windies do in this situation ask her if she wants to pay in kind. Just don't forget to whisper in her ear "no money no honey".
