Every now and again I look at my customer base and look for flaws like access problems, late payers, or wasters etc. I then cull the lot of them! Anyone else do this or do you soldier on regardless?
-
Yeah!!!
Best way to cull is put prices up.
I took a leaf out of Ian101s book and started with the price rises, higher rises for any messers, late payers, access issues, etc.
Got rid of 4 this way this week, makes me feel good😊
Do the usual and get better custies elsewhere.
Maybe Ian will be getting some calls from my dumpees, LOL

I cull regularly, almost monthly!
This weekend I'm dropping a set of houses down one road, 7 jobs in fact, purely because I can't stand doing them. They have to be home when I come or its over the garage to get to the back. Its a shame because there nice customers, all around £17 each but its become one of those days when I sigh every time its due.
Iv picked up a couple of bigger houses recently so iv already replaced them.
Culling is a necessary part of building a good round your happy with. All in all this year iv probably culled around 40 jobs and replaced them with around 20 better paid ones.

Replace with well paid jobs & cull the crap/awkward ones is what I do.
I would take on any job then realise I was making a rod for my own back so now pick and choose what I take on

;D .... had one Muppet yesterday text me saying once every 8 weeks was too much for his budget and I would HAVE to change frequency to every 12 weeks or he would have them done as and when as to suit him .... now an ex customer wont bore u with the reply but I suggested it be best if I took him off my round

Well they do say wfp does keep the windows looking cleaner for longer after all ;D
-
Sorry I don't clean your area anymore! Oooops did I say that out loud ;D

i occasionally drop the odd customer here and there but on the whole NO!as ive already have weeded out the messers over the years.
i do have a "good customer gone bad" scenario from time to time and sometimes dont go back to jobs if their out of my way
-
ive got rid of loads this year already ive piked up more as well. and I have a few that I do when I can be arsed to go
-
Its a good way to stop frustration with in your round. Waisters, pittas, bad payers, slow payers, moan asses, rude boys and gals, folk who talk down to you, not respect. One gets to a stage of the game were they are not worth it. A swift kick up the orifice. Dumping its part of the game. Its a good feeling.
-
Nothing like a good dump :o
-
dont cull but have only dropped no more than 10 in 16 years maybe getting the right jobs
-
suppose it depends on what you are prepared to aceept
Poor access
Has to be in to clean
Have to collect
Late payer
Bad payer
Miserable twat
Underpriced
all are reasons to drop but you could keep them all also so depends on what you want to put up with
i only want custies who pay online and who i can turn up and clean and dont have to specify a day or time.
Anything else is slowing you down and lowering profits
rape these cash cows
