I booked Becci and her team in to do a couple of days calling for me a few weeks ago. I was a bit sceptical as to whether the approach would work, but up to press I have taken on nearly 2k a month more from the leads generated. And I still have many leads to follow up in future. I am so impressed with the service that Becci and her team offer. She has been friendly, polite and honest. And I have had nothing but compliments from the customers I've signed up saying they aren't to pushy and are really nice people. I think this is a must for anyone wanting to grow their business.
Just thought I'd share my experience as I imagine that feedback from customers isn't always forthcoming in this line of work.

Every post on here about Becci Swan is nothing but praise. I think Alex Gardiner needs to look to his laurels!
;D ;D ;D
-
Can't praise her enough. She's very accommodating and sets a good impression on behalf of your business.
-
Is this for commercial or residential customers? How much would she charge for 2 days if you don't mind me asking.
Thanks,
Steve
-
It's all commercial customers. If you give Becci a call she'll be able to let you know what she charges or drop her an email and ask. Would rather she tells you her prices. But in my opinion it's been more than worth it. I imagine you'd pay a lot more to buy the level of commercial she has got for me.
-
She sounds like she's a bit if a Wonder Woman . Fair play ...

Jonathan - thank you for your glowing feedback - it is great working with you! :)
Steve - I'm not able to post the prices and details of my services on here as they will be removed - however please drop me an email and I'll happy to help!

We tried and the results were not good at all.
All you people raving about it should know it does not always work.
It is a numbers game we tried a couple of times and for us it did not work.

When you say not good at all what kind of numbers are we talking about?
-
Becci does half the job, if the company you are quoting for like your price and like you so you get the job then happy days, if the company doesnt like you or your quote then it will be a no no!.
If becci gets you the leads then its a job well done on her half.
-
We are not putting her down .It is horses for courses.
It does not work for all.
The leads we got were not great .
One example was for a large Health Centre which was a large 3 storey building.
All seemed fine until we arrived , and the job was for 2 windows either side of the communial entrance door.
All I am saying is it did not work for us.
-
That's why I'm wondering how many leads he got. I managed to convert most into jobs. If you can't do that then it's probably not for you. Becci leads you to people but you have to do the convincing of potential customers.

Didn't work for me either. ..becci did get me several leads but most already had a cleaner who was doing the jobs for next to nothing :(

Russ - I'm sorry to point this out - but you were at a large health centre, talking to the decision maker - did you not ask to quote for the whole building rather than just the communal entrance area?
SB - we got you 7 appointments in a 4 hour session which is one of our best conversions - as Jonathan said our job is to get you infront of these people - if you are not the cheapest then you more than likely provide a higher quality service, you then need to sell this quality at the appointment to give them a reason to pay more. Granted this doesn't always work, but if you come across well and build a rapport this can go a long way towards winning the work.
-
From my experience I can fully understand people like Becci getting exasperated by the feedback she sometimes gets.
I had a fully detailed list of customers sent over to me and can say that aside from the confirmed appointments there was also a list of maybes who wanted info sending.from this lead that Becci got me and the following up I did I have just signed a contract for £1500 a month of nursing homes.
Once Becci gets the info you have got to put in as much legwork as you can with the info you get. It's no guarantee but if you have all the info at your disposal you need to make it work for you. Becci can't control the results after you have met the client. It's our job as business owners to present ourselves well enough to get the work. And if it doesn't work for you then maybe it's a case of adjusting and trying different techniques on meeting the client.
-
Just as an example I went to quote a nursing home it was massive easily half a days work for 2 blokes I asked what the present cleaner was doing it for and the manager said £80 :o I nearly fell on the floor ;D im not blaming Becci in any way but its just not for me.
-
I think the risk you take in starting positive threads about a service is that there will always be someone with a bad experience.
-
The one thing I will say is that there is far too many window cleaners doing work on the cheap. I've been to a few that have been way underpriced, but I've been to a fair share that I've quoted for and beaten easily, you'll win some and lose some.
-
thanks becci for the email.

Becci
Of course we did , but we were talking to the receptionist who was not the decision maker .
The job was not appropriate - fact .i Understand your input but for us the leads were poor.
That is our opinion of the results from the leads you provided us.

I'm sorry but I don't get it. You only got to talk to the receptionist on every lead or just one?
I've used telesales companies in the past and you'll always get one or two naff leads and that is par for the course but it's the ones that aren't naff that matter and then it's up to you to make the best of them.
Even if you only get to speak to the receptionist from the lead, it's still up to you to give it a go and take the lead further. Sometimes it can be the receptionist who has a big influence because she can filter the calls that the main person gets.
All the telesales company get you is a lead, and nothing else. They don't provide an almost certain bash at giving a quote.
-
Russ_clark you say the lead wasn't appropriate? So do you expect Becci and her team to sit and talk about what windows need cleaning? Or how often they want it doing? They get the leads, that's it! You do the rest. Imagine how the phone call would go. They introduce your business and then ask if they can speak to the decision maker or at least book an appointment with them. Have you ever thought it could be that the person Becci speaks to changes there mind during the course of the week. She can't control what happens at the end of your meeting with that person. It looks like you've written it off as not being for you after 4 hours. I had Becci call for three days. I've spent peanuts in comparison to what I've gained. I don't think you can base such a strong opinion and say its not for you after such a short time.

clear tech this is a forum which enables people to put their personal views across.
I do not enter into arguments on forums.
My view is that this particular job was inappropriate and yes I would have expected
a couple of questions to clarify the window cleaning requirements.
This has been discussed with Becci and points noted on both sides.
We did try it a couple of times at least so maybe that was not enough.
That said it did not work for us at that time.
So the relevance of my post was to say that it does not always work.
I am fully aware that for some it has worked which is one of the reasons I gave it a go
