Hi guys,
We've been running our business using the traditional method since day one but we're now considering changing over to using the water fed pole method.
Before we do though, I thought that there'd be no better place to ask people of their opinions on this method over the traditional ladder and squeegee method than CIU.
Thanks in advance,
Dean.

im gob smacked you havent :o
-
it will never work mate, leave it well alone, its only for amateurs who are afraid of climbing ladders ;D ;D
-
Its a right pain switching over but second cleans are great ;D
-
Don't bother you'll end up spending thousands ( poss 100s thous) each year on replacement kit, not to mention the burns from the water :'( :'( :'( stress from call backs due to shoddy, spotty work, stick with sponge mate

dont think just do it dont use letters just turn up and clean if you are really worried then trad downs for a couple of cleans, then go full wfp,you will lose some 15% tops , but its worth it... ,

No booze Gav, I'm on a stag do tomorrow in Liverpool 10.34 train from stoke so I've got to be at my best.
This is serious,
What are the benefits of water fed pole of the traditional methods and will my lads who are used to ladders be able to make the switch? I can imagine that the pole isn't just a magic wand but will they have to just give the window a quick rub or is it more of an ongoing effort?
I've picked up from what people have said on here about resin and these ORs, is this an expensive do? We currently spend well over 1k a year on ladders, getting our ladders checked, replacing ladder feet and hiring specialist ladders for our bigger jobs.
Thanks in advance again,
Dean.

You'd be surprised how many times we've had to work nights window cleaning/cleaning. It is very common. :)

Definitely not drinking,
I was out all day in Liverpool on a stag do yesterday and I'm very tender. I was hoping to have a Guiness for St Pats day but can't bring myself to do it.
I've even been out to work this morning doing the last of the Lidl double decker bus washes with a guy who works for me. Luckily I wasn't driving. :-o
