Post by: john entwistle on May 06, 2012, 01:37:45 pm
Brodex customer services  well if ya can call it that i sent them my battery for a eco-trolley weeks ago to be tested as it wasn't holding charge so they said they would send me one free as it was still under warrenty anyway weeks have gone by i've spoken to them and they keep telling me it's on it's way and it will be there on a certain day but when it comes round surprise it does'nt turn up so i'm just stumped as to what to do now if i ring them i get fobbed off any advise what to do would be appreciated

Another bad write up on Brodex. You'd think they'd learn, trust me us window cleaners are learning from these write ups!

The Eco trolley is ok but the batteries then the pump fail got 2 both had new pumps after about  1k hours use  . Don't buy batteries or  pumps from brodex both over priced

If you can prove all the promised let downs from them I would go and buy a new battery yourself now. Send a copy of all the paperwork and the invoice for the new one you bought to them and give them 7 days to pay up or county court.

Send a registered letter to someone at the top threatening small claims court action if no satisfaction within x days.
Sometimes the informal approach just doesn't work.
There have been too many posts like this for me to entertain doing business with them.

Thers a forum called consumer CAG which has many different areas on it.

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/

One area being the car dealer side ... a large used car group called Carcraft (also the people behind "we buy any car") are always on there getting complained about so what did they do ................ they became a member on there through their customer care department so now answer complaints directly and advise folk what to do .. they may say yes were at fault or they may say no not our fault so off yer go laddy or they may say this aint the place to sort this so call us / email us instead.

Maybe Brodex may like to join this forum in an official capacity and maybe someone from the top or someone with authority to do things.

They sponsor this section so would think it be in their interest.

Over to you Mr Brodex  ;)
