Give you £200 for spinner, just so happens I'm in banbury Thursday morning.
Cheers mark.
-
Hi Mark, what about £220 meet you less than half way
-
Ok deal, got to go to Beadnell close just off the Oxford road. Are you anywhere near there?
-
What exactly do you mean by 'electric spray pump'?
-
Hi Mark, Good agreed at £220. Yes know where Beadnell Close is, what time are you likely to be there on Thursday,
Jo
-
The electric spray pump has a 5 litre solution bottle, and we used it for spraying shampoo or protector on carpets and/or upholstery has hand held sprayer. (no pumping necessary just plug in to the electric)
-
Jo can meet you about 8.30 somewhere nearby.
Give me a call tomorrow 07747841511

j ,
I've got to say a better set up that this was on eBay for ages constantly resisted as it got no interest, at the end ihe was asking £11k
I mean no offence but I think you should rethink your price
Mike
-
Sorry Mike, LJ wants to sell the ramps as whole package with the van and TruckMount. But thanks anyway.
-
Ok but if you change your mind I need some and have cash waiting
-
Are. You sure you don't want to sell me the ramps I will pay cash
-

didn't you read he's retiring........ offer to pay in Viagra or arthritis medication you might get him to sell :D :D
-
problem is the colour and carpet cleaning who ever buys it will have to respray it again, or risk a nasty letter saying cease passing off from SM
sold a machine with less hours in a van with less miles ( abet the van was 3 years older) for much less than half this amount, I suspect it will hang around for a while like most then go
-
So you cant use a yellow van in case SM get on your back, since when did they or any one else trade mark a colour,
If they contacted me and said anything like what you mention, first off I'd tell them ferk off, then.. please, please try and stop me using the colour yellow, through the courts if you like...... ;)
Apart from that it is over-priced by about a third but as they have retired I suppose they can wait, although not too long as it will depreciate further.
-
I think Paul meant the colour of the machine I believe sm pay extra to have the boxxer421 painted yellow so that everyone knows it a sm machine
I could be wrong but I think that's the way it is
-
The colour of the van AND the machine might be a problem - Its a tough one the colour issue BUT you can't just assume SM would not be successful in a 'passing off' action if they wanted to get legal - you could ask them of course - fact is, if it was a drain jetter in the back then they could not do anything about it but it is a carpet extractor and that is precisely what the 'passing off' case law will consider - very much depends if they wanted to be spiteful or are not that bothered!
If you put new graphics on it completely dis-similar to the SM brand it might help your case
-
Cannot see the problem unless your passing yourself off as a s/m franchise, I can go and get a yellow extracta machine put it in a yellow van infact there are plenty that do. There are also plenty guys advertise the fact they are ex S/M, do S/m come down hard on these? cannot see how they can.
-
maybe not, Look nice that van on your drive ;)
-
I really don't think the colour will bother SM.
The reason the buyer will want to change the colour is because it's yellow.
This is over priced, should be £ 10k (5k van 5k machine) and that's generous.
-
Less £90.00 after I have brought the hose ramps ;) ;)
-
has van been had protector coating applied internally
-
I imagine the you are talking about the sort of thing that Alltec do. There is no protective coating apart from being part boarded on the sides and on the roof. We are not longer vat registered and are now prepared to discuss the initial asking price less any VAT element.
-
What about the hose ramps ;D

They would be laughed out off court , love to see them try....

David I have da ja vue, I'm sure a couple of months ago you was asking for x2 hose ramps and some guy in Somerset came on with two for sale at £150 each.(good price) Did you not buy them? or are you collecting them ;D
-
He never answered me I tried several times to contact him must have changed his mind
-
It's tricky getting a value of TM and van but what I would do is look up the book price of van, for the TM since it's a HM I would call HM and ask them, they must be the best placed to know used value.
Personally I would take the total add £1k advertise and drop until I got shot of it.

Not neccessarily Hilton - thats why I commented - I worked for a company where we produced a product that was deemed to be 'passing off' as another product and it is no joke - in fact we knew nothing about the other product but thats no defence - it depends on how keen SM are on protecting their trademark and the colour is very much part of that IP - it all depends on how highly they rate their profile - it would certainly not be laughed out of court...
