had a quick look on that site .most prices ok .but a bit steep for the tds meter nearly £27

I don't want to dampen this post but we suppy TDS meters and were informed by HM Digital the TDS meters with 2 blue buttons are fakes!!!! These tend to come from Asia.

If they are then they still do the job as we have had ours for years.

I thought that the only difference was that the two button meters can only give you the TDS whereas the three button ones can give a temperature readout too.

If you have a look at EBay it is full of these TDS Meters. Whilst placing our bulk order I asked the question how come you can get the same product from China lower than the cost that I could buy in bulk.

That was the reply I got, if it had 2 blue buttons they were fakes.

The TDS 3 you can get a temp reading as well. You would never know these things until you start asking questions.

I have just noticed that the one I was selling (still not sold) is in fact the TDS-3 because I was sure I had checked the temp with mine before you mentioned this problem.

It turns out that the pic I posted up (from the website) is showing what I can only imagine is the older version, which does like you say have 2 blue buttons, I just did not bother to scrutinize it

My tds-3 does has three buttons just to clarify so is genuine. Anyone want it now?
