Highly recommended for use in medium or hard water areas.
Equipment Manufacturers will not warranty components affected by hard water deposits.

complete but with one fault, it has a tiny pin prick leak from the inlet end, I've made no attempt to seal it but I don't think it would be difficult, if you mounted it vertically it wouldn't be a problem anyway.I don't need it as we have very soft water here.
