Dave,
The glide does everything they say its easier over the carpet and does leave it dryer.
The thing that i dont like is because it glides over the carpet it doesnt lift a piled carpet at all.I find that with my without the glide my forward stroke opens the pile breaking the surface tension allowing the cleaning solution deeper intothe carpet.I just find i get a better result without the glide especially when a carpet has a lot of spots, the wand action breaks them up.
People also say it doesnt pick up fluff,Which it doesnt but even after a good pre-vac without the glide picks up more dry soil which is left behind.I can tell this because of my inline filter.
It may just be that ive been cleaning for too long and i just dont like the look of the results i know from reading reports that lots of people are very happy with the glide.
Carpet cleaning is allabout what works for you as you have to happy selling your services

How easy is it to install and remove? Could you just put it onto your wand for certain types of carpet and remove for others?

Used the Greenglide this afternoon on a Nightclub carpet, FANTASTIC!!!!

Before I finished I took the glide off to do the last few sq yds and I then realised how much easier it is working with the glide .
I get better looking each day!!
