Phillip,
The trouble is you still haven't solved the problem you originally asked about, black top. If it is a Sebo Duo you've bought it won't touch black top in places like pubs etc, and will simply skip over it as it is nowhere near heavy or beefy enough for that kind of thing, excellent on domestics tho.
