I cleaned 3 houses on an estate I work on today, all 3 phoned me tonight to say that another cleaner (aqua clear) had done them last week, he had told them that I wasn't cleaning windows anymore!!  >:(  I'm going to be having words with this idiot!!!!!!!!

Thanks Stu, I will be giving him a call in the morning. Why do people try these stupid underhand tactics to get customers?

Be careful.
Aqua clear is the sort of name that might be popular so makew sure you have the right person first  :)
I was once accused of scratching a car by someone who wasn't even a customer.  I had never met him before.  His wife had told him that their window cleaner had done it.  Perhaps he had.  Of course, this guy I had never met saw me cleaning windows a few doors away and assumed that I was their window cleaner too.  He was a bit embarrassed to say the least but he was big enough to say sorry and I felt he meant it.  Made me a cup of tea as an act of penance  :)

I tried to phone him 3 times this morning, he wasn't answering his mobile and I could only get his answer phone on his home number. I will try again tomorrow, and let you know what he says.

I think you may be right as he didn't answer his phone again today! I'll keep trying, and let you know what he says when I get hold of him.
