IDEALROB,

I wouldn't be putting 3 vans on the road just so i can say ive got 3 vans.

The reason is simple, obviously i do a good job and have a good approach.

In the last 2 months i have picked up quite abit of work.

Im not naming all the work ive picked up, but i now have the contracts at:

The Wheel of Manchester - cleaned weekly (all 42 capsules)
The ECHO Wheel of Liverpool - cleaned weekly (42 capsules)
Part of Manchester Printworks - fortnightly
9 Ford Garages - fortnightly

so you can clearly see this is very, very good work and thats the reason for the extra van i will be buying.

I have grown slowly since i started running my business 20 years ago, and have NEVER stood on anyones toes or undercut a fellow window cleaner.

DAVEWILLIS,

Since i started using the pole system a number of years ago, all my equipment purchased was IONICS

Everything, starting with Pro 2 trailer system, Pro 5, Ionics trolley, all my poles are Ionics from 4ft - 65ft Ergo light, and will be buying the 45ft swift in may when i take 2 lads on the course in swindon with craig.

But, unfortunatly in August last year whilst i was in Greece i telephoned them 6 times and they NEVER phoned me back as promised to give me a price for bigger system.

So i decided if they couldnt be bothered getting back to me i would spend my hard earned cash somewhere else.

I bought in September lastyear a 650ltr from Brodex and they have been superb, so i have bought 2 more systems from them, although i only use Ionics poles as in my opinion they are the best and i like them.

I have ALWAYS bought what i think to be the best equipment and looked after it, and it has looked after me,,,,,,,, Upto now anyway  ;)

Just a quick post for the person that came on this forum taking the micky out of me, when i said that i would be buying 3 vans within 12 months.

Without mentioning names - you KNOW who you are !

Well, i got it all wrong, i must agree with your micky taking comments and all the  ::) ::) ::) ::) stupid pictures that came with the comments because i HAVEN'T achieved what i said i would in the period of time being 12 months.

I have actually done it from September-April , that is 8 months = I have bought and put 2 vans on the road, and now just looking to buy THAT 3rd van.

Already bought the system for it, so when the van is purchased that will be the magical 3 which i said i would get.

i WILL also have another 2 vans hopefully within 12 months - so thanks for the comments, they just made me more determined to achieve exactly what i said i would achieve.
Well Done Chris ;D

Hi Archer .... great to hear success stories ... Im just starting out with W/C and only part time ... want to go full time but worry about making the required £100 a day I need ... posts like urs show me what can be acheived though  :D

Went to bank to open an account and they have offered me a 2 grand overdraft if I need it ... back to work Monday sorely tempted to give my resignation  ;D

I know how Archer conducts his business, he is very clever and very shrewd.

I thought I knew it all until I met him, If  only I could get him to partner up, we could conquer the world.

It just shows never judge a book by its cover.             Try reading it first.
There is good reason why we are judged at death. By then we may have achieved something, Maybe. Most judge first, not a good move!!!
