If i was you i would at least ask the homeowners if they have his contact details and make an attempt to get in touch with the guy.You never know he may just have a load of other work that he is willing to part with,and as you have been a nice chappy he may pass it your way....(mind if it was me i would want you to part with some cash)

Everyone is quick to say "don't pinch another windys work", but has he told his custys that he is going to be off for a while or when he expects to be back. If it was my work that is what I would do.

if any customer comes to you for cleaning thats their choice
im always sorry for anybodies poor circumstances i had 8 weeks
off the other year through illness i made dam sure my customers
new the score..didnt lose one.

if he hasnt kept his customers up to date with whats going
on they are bound to drift to other people.makes me laugh with all
this you are devil in disguise business nobody is responsible
for your round but your self

gary i agree, if you are running a professional window cleaning service you should inform all your customers if you have a fall or some other problem.
