I seen the crash tested tank in the flesh today, hardly a scratch on it, most of what you can see in the vid is dust,

have a look at the bulk head in the first fail at about 43 seconds, see the engine bay bulkhead ripped apart just by the sheer force of the escaping water.

also see how the mounting brackets rip through the floor, after seeing that, I would only ever have a crash tested system fitted

Ionic sell their systems on the back of the crash test, going on about the clamp. Does Alex's new system have clamps?
And what is better, a Thatcham test or a Mira test, or doesn't it matter?

May be they don`t need to be,may be constant pushy pushy sales men can put some people off and may be Alex just relies on quality made for window cleaners by window cleaners thats just my guess

Or maybe they just can't afford it  ;D  ;D  ;D

Fair play to gardiners, this crash test looks good.  I'd like to see some sort of certificate of compliance or something.

I remember that joker from brodex came on here going on about their not very amazing crash test, and we had to take his word for it that it was done at the speed he claimed (which personally I HIGHLY DOUBTED).  He promised to put the mira report on the website etc, and it was never done.  Very dubious if you ask me, left more questions than it answered.

This gardiner one does look better though, like I say, I think its a good thing.

If I was a newbie considering buying now, I'd be thinking its either Ionics or gardiners, nobody else.

Going back to the first fail, although it was there first attempt, they believed it was better fitted than most of there competitors.

to be honest i looked at the 810 delivery unit for around 2k. to have a crash tested fitted system at that cost is a no brainer really

They are modular tanks connected together, exactly the same tanks, but slightly modified for the following tests.

The scary bit is the bulk head tearing open, that happened with nothing more than the force of water.

david, why does the van go in reverse, surely it should go forward to be tested
