i had a hose burst right near the connector to the wand when doing an old dears place recently, she was talking to me and polishing her baby grand piano and suddenly the whole thing went, all up the walls, over the newly polished piano and all over the newly cleaned cream carpets.
I've never seen someone so shocked in all my life
, she was speechless, i just ran out with the hose squirting scorching water down my trousers. ( beleive me that was hot
)
The place was a mess, black gunge everywhere, fortunately nothing was badly damaged and i think the polish on the piano actually protected it.
She was really good about it tho, i thought she was going to go bonkers, but she just said "it's not your fault" and helped me clear up.
Had to clean the carpets all over again and she stayed well out of the way this time
