Hitman,
Are you still in the nineties? Citroen, Fiat and Peugeot all make these and are badged as the dispatch, scudo and expert. They are the most popular van on the road!

got an 07plate astra van ;D just gone in2 business wiv me m8 ;D so got a new name as well ;D ;D
dont want 2say wot the name is yet cause we want 2 register it ;D

I'm a sole trader and was thinking of getting an newish astravan and wondered how you get on with a 2 man wfp operation with this van?
I'm using my Mondeo estate at the mo and it's not ideal.
I was thinking of continuing using my backpacks and sack truck, but probably adding a tank (maybe 200 lt ish) soon.
Is there enough room in the loadspace for my kit?
I was going for the astravan as I only want to run one vehicle  and the astra seemed ideal.

an astra van for a 2 man set up IMO is to small, for the price you pay for an astra van you can get a scudo or simalar swb van give all the space you will need.

Buy to small you will buy twice

jonboywalt-  thing is  some of the astras go twang quite easy , youve only to look on ebay to see plenty with duff engines .   your mondeos more bombprooff, you could fit beefier rear springs to it

Sorry i was being misleading, I will only be using it alone, that's the way i work.
I only tend to use 200 lts or less per longish day.

so when you say 2 man operation you just mean a spare pump and control ect. if your only using 200L a day it would be an ideal van, and if you are only going to use this very small amount I would say go for it, if your looking to expand I would get a bigger van.

I like the look of astra vans they are just to small for what I need.
