W5 from LIDL  is what i use. has very good slip .

I also use this, never had a complaint from anyone 

I'll third that.  I have also used ecover washing up liquid which is good.

As Lammy said, wet leg syndrome and the fairy has caused a sore on my leg ........... feels like it's on fire at the moment.

i used to get that really bad, try wearing waterproofs in colder / wet weather and in summer use at little water as you can to stop drips , but sometimes like me it just happens its horrible

barrier cream on your leg ie vaseline or something similar could work too

ive used green fairy for 16 years and get a wet leg most days with wearing jeans all the time but it doesnt bother me!never had sores or anything!sounds like you could be allergic to the soap!


or allergic to window cleaning!!

Not just window cleaning ........... I have an allergy to any kind of work. 

But you could be right about the fairy.

I bought a box of glass wash detergent from a car boot, this is the stuff they use in pubs for drinking glasses, fantastic stuff.
When I was trad I used to put a dash of dishwasher rinse aid in the bucket, this is brilliant if you use a Wagtail as an all in one tool, no suds and loads of slide on the glass. Absolutely no blow back over the blade on windy days.

try this out mates does work rinse aid from wilkos £1.70 stick in ya water or add to your wfp tanks gives a good glide and finish its designed to lave less spotting on ya glass
