I don't like doing them either but I reason at least it's safe and I'm in the warm and I get chances to nick things :o

Decided to give my soon to be gone if this weather continues only employee some moral support today
in the cafe at 7.30
at the first job at 8.30
balaclaved up wearing army camo gear to keep warm-look like a Ira terrorist
pull my weapon of choice from the back of the van and get in 4 hours of solid graft
then it rains
canvassing for a hour
3 new jobs
another 2 hours grafting
over 240 quid earned

I ask myself the question why couldn't the lazy bas:::d
do that for the last 6 weeks or do I have to spoon feed him forever
as someone said it's all in the mind

What do you mean by rain guarantees

This:-

Dear Customer,

So that we keep your panes and frames gleaming we provide a regular service and keep to a reasonably predictable schedule; however it can be a bit of a juggling act getting the balance between arriving on time and not cleaning in really bad weather.

To preserve schedules we clean in drizzly and showery conditions too. Please be assured that the purified water system (unlike the previous traditional method) contains no soapy residues - and this means that your windows will remain clean despite squally showers that may land on the glass during the cleaning and allowing to dry process.

However, in the rare event that you feel the rain has marked your glass then please do not hesitate to call us back within 24 hours of the original clean and we will gladly clean the offending window(s) again.
It's a game of three halves!

I guarantee not to turn up  ;D

Ian just used the word "asinine" in his post on the WILLIS thread. Good word that. As in "Another one of Gold's asinine posts." Could apply to some of Ewan's too!  ;D
