Did woodbridge explain the problem?
Was it something they knew about and couldnt rectify?

Joe I test drove this on tuesday last week it would not get hot, I went bck next day they said a wire was off one of the heaters test drove again all good, saturday 40 mins into the job no heat all dead, sunday opened up machine to find the inline heater both safety buttons had blew out, this problem I had with another machine started to bring back bad memorys ::) took it back today
John very fair and helpful but he to did say inline heaters can have there moments,I just decided to give this machine a miss, for me somthing is not quite right ??? but fair play to woodbridge they are good people to deal with and found them very helpful and they were very understanding because they know of my problems with machines in the past, I now not sure what to get ???

Sounds like the machine has no kind of bypass on so when you stop work and the water stops flowing it still heats up until it trips the upper limit stat.
Prochem heat and run inline heaters do this too.
On a Ninja you can open the bypass valve if you stop wanding and the water goes back to the clean tank.

the ninja is expensive but it is a brilliant bit of kit i have had mine for 18 months with no problems and the heat the built in steam mate generates even from cold water is amazing.

get some of them winnings spent you tight arse ;D ;D ;D

Hi Trevor,

For what its worth i would recommend the Powerflite Perfect heat pfx1350. The built in heater has a 3 year warranty, it works very well indeed. If you still have the inline heater you picked up from Woodbridge, then this would ensure you get plenty of steam.

Give Karl a ring at Amtech their always helpful.

No problems with leaks at all. Main problem is slopping
water when filling. ???
Once you get the technique no trouble. In 3 years only
problem with heater is one bi-metallic switch broke, about
£2 for a new one.
Amtech stopped using Chinese vac's.

Terry although I am now trucky I started out with the 400psi Ninja built in tank heater and built in steam mate nothing went wrong in three years Brilliant bit of kit. I would not part with it still use it when I have to. The big advantage with having an in tank heater is you are then passing already hot watwer over the heat exchanger which makes a massive differance you won't be disapointed.

Terry i have the PFX 1350 Perfect heat.
Tap hot water in the tank, means burnt fingers
on the brass parts at 50'. :-X
Ninjas are good i have an old one as back up still,
but the Powrflite makes it look like a toy ;)
